ABOUT NAURU
Nauru is a compact single-island nation in the central South Pacific Ocean, within the Micronesia
subregion of Oceania. Located approximately 4,500 km (2,800 mi) northeast of Australia, it is a raised
coral atoll and one of only three major phosphate rock islands in the Pacific. The island lies just south of
the Equator (40–53 km / 25–33 mi), with Banaba Island (Kiribati) as its nearest neighbor approximately
300 km to the east.
Despite its small size — making it the third-smallest country in the world — Nauru offers a tranquil, tight-
knit island lifestyle. Visitors and residents enjoy a warm tropical climate, welcoming locals, pristine
beaches, and rich marine biodiversity. The relaxed pace of life, far from the noise of big cities, combined
with excellent opportunities for snorkeling, fishing, and other sea activities, creates an authentic and
peaceful Pacific experience.
At the same time, Nauru stands at the forefront of global climate efforts. As one of the nations most
exposed to rising sea levels and extreme weather, it actively promotes ambitious international climate
policies and invests in renewable energy, coastal protection, and environmental conservation. These
initiatives not only strengthen the island’s resilience but also contribute to protecting the Pacific Ocean’s
vital ecosystems and global food security.
Today, Nauru is increasingly attracting international investors who see the Nauru Economic and Climate
Resilience Citizenship Program as an attractive and forward-looking route to obtaining a second passport.
ABOUT THE CITIZENSHIP PROGRAM NAURU
There are no residency requirements, no obligation to renounce the original citizenship, and no language
or history tests. Investors may also include their spouse, dependent children, parents, and siblings in the
application.
With a favorable tax regime, strong global mobility (visa-free to over 85 destinations), and a clear focus
on sustainability, a Nauruan passport is becoming increasingly sought-after among international
investors.
The Nauru Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Program was launched to support the country’s
sustainable development and climate adaptation efforts while attracting foreign investment.
The program offers one of the fastest and most efficient routes to citizenship in the Pacific, with a
passport obtainable in as little as three to four months. This makes Nauru citizenship an appealing option
for forward-thinking investors seeking a quick, transparent, and impactful second passport.
To obtain citizenship, the investor makes a non-refundable contribution to the Treasury Fund of Nauru
starting at USD 115,000 for the principal applicant. The funds are directed toward critical national
projects, including climate resilience initiatives, renewable energy, infrastructure development, and
economic diversification.
Family members — spouse, dependent children, parents, and siblings — can be included in the application. t.
